Frequently asked questions about PGX®.
If you find the softgels to be too big, please don’t cut the softgels in half as the softgels contain an oily substance called medium chain triglycerides (MCTs). MCTs help increase metabolism and may help improve blood-glucose control. Also, cutting the softgel open could potentially be a choking hazard so it’s best to not use the softgels if you find them uncomfortable to swallow whole; you may wish to try PGX granules as an alternative. PGX granules are very convenient to pour into a blender with other smoothie ingredients or to thicken sauces or add to baking. The PGX granules still retain all other benefits, including supplying highest viscosity fiber for the intestinal tract, providing a greater feeling of fullness.

Have your blood sugar levels tested by your healthcare practitioner to determine if they are above normal levels. The following may be symptoms of higher than normal blood sugar:
- Cravings for sugary or high-carb foods
- Low energy levels and mood swings
- Increased appetite (especially sudden cravings)
- Frequent or slow healing infections
Cravings are a direct result of blood sugar imbalance. PGX controls the release of sugars into the bloodstream, slowing digestion and creating a feeling of satiation.
Unlike other supplements, PGX is designed to “treat the cause, not the illness”. PGX and the PGX Programs will not only help you lose weight but help you maintain a healthier weight. And while doing so, PGX will provide you with the added benefits of living a healthier life.
