Save reminders of your special day.

every girl deserves a picture like this

I don’t know about you but I love weddings. A lot of work goes into making it a very special day, from diet and excerise to fit into the perfect dress to flower arrangements and choosing the right location.

But whether the wedding is an impromptu run down to city hall or a big elaborate affair, you’ll want to have some keepsakes to remember the big day. Chances are most of it will be a bit of a blur anyway!

Here are some things you can do to save your mementos:

• Photos: Call your photographer and find out how long it’ll take to process your photos. If you have disposable cameras get them developed and have a few laughs at the candid snaps. Digital photos make great photo books and gifts for family that may not have been able to attend.

• Videos: If you have some video of the wedding, work out how you want it edited and make some extra copies. Sometimes you’ll find some fun stuff going on in the background that you might have missed!

• Memory Box: Save the special memories of the day such as, your guestbook, cards, invitations, favors, menu, and dried flowers from your bouquet. Once a year, on your anniversary, you’ll be able to relive the special moments of the day together.

• The Dress: Make sure you have your dress dry-cleaned after the wedding. Your drycleaner should store it for you in a tissue-lined box. Now it’s yours to keep or give to someone to cherish.

Did you or someone you know get married this summer? Or are you celebrating an anniversary? Let me know in the comments below!

Wedding season is here and so are bachelorette parties!

But if traditional calorie-laden cocktail parties don’t sound your idea of a good time, fly in the face of tradition by celebrating your bachelorette party in a fun, healthy way instead. Here are a few ways to bond with your girlfriends while burning calories along the way.

Bride Patrol: Plan a weekend skiing or snowboarding! Have some customized shirts made and dress the bride in all white. Or have a scavenger hunt on the mountain.

Bridal Boot Camp: Get wedding photo ready and fabulously fit in time for your big day. Boot camps are a great way for you and your wedding party to look and feel great on your wedding day, plus you might even create some workout buddy’s long after the big day!

Girlfriend Sleep Over: The night before your wedding can be stressful but not if you have a girls’ spa night at home! Enjoy spa treatments together and pop on your favorite movie, then go to bed early and wake up refreshed. In the morning go for a walk and return to a healthy breakfast with fresh fruit, egg white omelet’s and green tea.

Runaway Bride: Ready, set, go! Plan a running weekend with a 5k, or run of your choice. To recover, spoil yourselves for the rest of the weekend with pedicures, manicures, massages, and spa treatments.

What do you have planned for your bachelorette party? Tell us in the comments section below.
